New York Philharmonic vs. Mother Nature

Outgoing Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival Executive Director John Giovando recalls the New York Philharmonic’s first performance at the festival in this Vail Daily feature. Lightening struck twice, so to speak, as crowds again braved a rainstorm for the final performance of the Orchestra’s 2012 residency, it’s tenth in Vail.
