Congrats to baritone Joshua Hopkins, who made his Philharmonic debut in June, for being tapped by Opera News as one of 25 names poised to become major forces in the field. Hopkins did double duty with the Orchestra in June, featured in Nielsen’s Symphony No. 3 and Mozart’s Great Mass, then joined the Philharmonic at the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival in July for a reprise of the Nielsen symphony.
