Thanks to a Singular, Sensational Friend

Today we say goodbye to composer and conductor Marvin Hamlisch, a special friend of the Philharmonic with a long-standing history of creating one-of-a-kind evenings for the Orchestra and audience. We will certainly miss his charming presence on the podium of Avery Fisher Hall and thank him for the memories.
