Unanswered Questions
Speaking of, you can still relive the Philharmonic’s performance of Ives’s The Unanswered Question (with a beautiful trumpet solo by Phil Smith), plus Stockhausen’s Gruppen and more, from Philharmonic 360, co-produced by the Orchestra and the Park Avenue Armory.

The Peruvian Case

Last week, while one Philharmonic Assistant Conductor, Joshua Weilerstein, was leading the Orchestra’s flutes in Ives and otherwise helping out in Philharmonic 360, the other, Case Scaglione, headed southward to lead the Sinfonía por el Perú. Our Spanish-speaking fans can get to know the Texas native better by watching the television interview he gave on June 22. Me gusta!
