As we mentioned last week, the Philharmonic is giving away exclusive seats for Wednesday’s open rehearsal* to our Tumblr fans. There are still THREE seats left! The next three people to comment on our giveaway post (be sure to leave a comment, not like or reblog) will score reserved seating for Wednesday morning’s concert.

Open Season for Cheap Seats
Open Rehearsals are back and there are 28 chances this season to catch the Philharmonic for only $18. From Alan Gilbert to Frank Peter Zimmermann, the line-up features an alphabet’s worth of incredible performers.

The New York Philharmonic Box Office at Avery Fisher Hall is now open. Join us for a season full of musical highlights, including the world premiere of John Corigliano’s One Sweet Morning, written as a reflection on the years following September 11, 2001; CONTACT! the exciting new-music series; the return of former Music Directors Zubin Mehta, Kurt Masur, and Lorin Maazel; evenings with film, including Philip Glass’s score for Koyaanisqatsi; The Modern Beethoven: A Philharmonic Festival with David Zinman; and great concerts with Music Director Alan Gilbert, such as the season finale: Mozart’s mass in C-minor, Great! The Box Office opens at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. On performance evenings, the Box Office closes one-half hour after performance time; other evenings it closes at 6:00 p.m. For more information, call (212) 875-5656 or visit nyphil.org.
